We have heard many stories about dogs saving their owners from all sorts of mishappenings but this time, a heroic dog has proved his friendship with his master bu saving his life from three lions! The incident took place in Ambardi village, Gujrat, when 25-year-old shepherd Bhavesh Bharwad was grazing his sheep. The lions appeared from nowhere and attacked the sheep. Bhavesh's dog who saw the incident started barking persistently which alerted the locals. As the locals started rushing in large numbers, the lions fled the site. Bhavesh was rushed to the local hospital. He suffered minor injuries on his arm and back. Three sheep were killed in the attack while his dog remained unhurt. Locals have informed the forest department about the attack and proper measures are being taken to keep the lions away from the villa

Lynea Lattanzio, the incredible woman who founded and runs The Cat House on the Kings  has saved 30,000 cats in 26 years.  The sanctuary provides a safe and loving environment to abandoned, homeless and rescued cats. It is also the home of more than 700 cats and 300 kittens.  What makes this sanctuary so unique is it's a no-kill and no-cage cat sanctuary where animals roam freely in 4200 sq feet . They also provide facilities like adoption and low-cost spaying and neutering.  The 12-acre sanctuary is situated in California and relies on donations from people and 45 volunteers for taking good care of the cats. They also educate people on how to be a responsible pet owner and how they can get involved in animal welfare.   She says, "You have to be on the very top of the job because you have a lot of cats that you are responsible for. There is no point in rescuing them and taking them in if you can't take care of them".

Apple has received a lot of criticism in the past for the apple maps. Even after being one of the most used applications in the phone, it failed to provide a decent service. Maps are one feature in the iOS devices that have been roasted a lot for incorrect information and bugs and Apple is aware that maps need fixing.  As per the reports of technology publications techcrunch, Apple has admitted that previous maps were a lot about getting directions and reaching places but now maps will be taken to the next level.  The new maps will be launched with iOS 12 beta in San Francisco and Bay Area and later every iOS device will receive the map update. The only tech giant that owns the complete map stack is google and in order to compete with Google maps, Apple cannot rely on third parties like TomTom and other data brokers for the providing best services. 

In order to make sure students keep coming to the school, Rajaram, a teacher from Baraali village, Karnataka, India, teaching in Baraali Government Higher Primary School stepped up and bought a bus with the help of alumni of the school. Rajaram noticed that students had started dropping out since there were no roads between the homes of the students and the school. The Students had to walk around 6 km every day through the forest area. Scarlett Johansson Faces Backlash from Actors and Twitter  Scarlett Johansson has been facing a lot of backlash from actors and Twitter after she was cast for the role for Dante "Tex" Gill for the movie Rub & Tug.  This is not the first time  Johansson is at the center of the controversy. The actress faced a lot of backlashes before for her role as Major Mokoto Kusanagi in the movie "Ghost in the shell".  Twitter is not happy about a female being cast for a transgender role when a lot of transgender actors could have been chosen for the role.
