This Mom and Son Due has Saved More Than Thousands of dogs!

Meet Roman Mcconn, the 7-year-old boy, who along with his mom Jennifer McConn has saved more than thousands of dogs from the Texas kill shelters.

It all started when the family adopted their dog "Luna" from a Texas kill shelter which inspired Jennifer to save more pups and adult dogs.

Jennifer got herself heavily involved in the local shelters with volunteering and Roman helped her with spreading the word.

Roman started making videos of the dogs, explaining about the dog's age, breed and what kind of family and home would be perfect for the dog. the videos received a lot of love and support which helped them in finding the loving families.

In the summer of 2016, when Jennifer's husband who serves in Navy received orders to serve overseas, they moved to Western Washington where Project Freedom Ride (PFR) was born and 31 dogs were transported from Texas to Washington.

Over the years,  PFR has received love and support of thousands and relies completely on donations.  PFR has partnered up with amazing texas rescue shelters who save dogs who are homeless, unwanted, mistreated and are from kill shelters.
