Andheri  Station, Mumbai: Bridge Collapses on Railway Tracks. 



A part of the foot overbridge collapsed in Andheri station, Mumbai on the railway tracks on Tuesday, 3rd July. As per the reports, the bridge collapsed around 7:30 am injuring 5 people who have been rushed to the hospital. The bridge collapse has disrupted the western line train services. 

Western railway has tweeted, "Restoration of OHE & tracks bet Andheri & Vile Parle which is affected due to the falling of part of ROB is underway. Trains are working bet Virar - Goregaon & Bandra-Churchgate but It is advised to travel only if its very necessary to avoid inconvenience please. #WRUpdates @drmbct"

It is also reported the debris is being cleared from the tracks and within four hours the railway will start functioning.
